About Melchester Christmas Market 2026
Melchester Winter Market is back for its 23rd year, running from Friday 28 November to Sunday 21 December 2025, right in the heart of Melchester Town Square. Open seven days a week — 11am to 9pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends — there's never been a better excuse to wrap up warm and get into the Christmas spirit. Entry is completely free, and with over 70 stalls, two live music stages, and enough mulled wine to fill a sleigh, you'll want to set aside a good few hours.
This year, more than 70 independent makers and producers are bringing their A-game to the market, with everything from hand-carved wooden toys and locally blown glass baubles to artisan cheeses, spiced nut mixes, and festive fudge by the slab. New for 2025, the Makers' Mile showcases 15 first-time stallholders — all based within 20 miles of Frostvale — so every purchase goes directly back into the local community. Cash and card are both welcome across the site.
